Trick or Treat!

Halloween was a lot of fun this year. Jack picked out his Thomas the Train costume and he was so cute. We went trick or treating to the mall first and he got the hang of it really fast. He would grab a huge handful of candy and then try to go back for seconds. We only got two pictures there because the security gaurds wouldn't let us take anymore. I guess the photographer on the top floor has photog rights in the mall. Lame.
Then we headed home and just went around one block. It was pretty cold and Jack was actually asking to go home which worked out great because this is the first year that we have a place where we get trick or treaters. I know some people don't like handing out candy on halloween but I love it. I love to see all the cute little kids! Jack really liked it too. In fact he stood by the window and yelled "kids, mom more kids". What a fun year!
Oh yah the one picture of me I had to put in so you could see my baby belly! 23 weeks today. Any ideas for boy names?

Happy Halloween

Halloween was a lot of fun this year. We all carved pumkins together and I thought Jack would get into it a little more but he thought the insides of the pumpkin were gross and he would barely touch the pumkins. So we carved them and then we let him color his too.

fall pics

We have been without a good camera for quite a while. The camera we had had funny lines that ran through all of our pictures so we pretty much quit taking pictures. But.... We finally bought one and I love it. I don't really know how to use it other than point and click yet, but I am really excited to learn. Here are some pictures we took this past month. Really these are all pretty much of Jack because we hardly took any of him this year. Bad parents!!! These first couple are at a really cool park here in Boston that has tons of beautiful trees and overlooks onto the city. You almost feel like you are out in the woods when you are there. It's great. By the way Jack won't ever look at the camera so most of the pictures we take are of him playing or looking at something else. Anyone have any ideas on how to get him interested in actuallly looking at the camera?

A view of the city from the park!

Another park near our house. I really love the area we live in because there are so many parks. There is pretty much one on every corner.

The park has tons of old toys in it that people just drop off. He is in a stage where he loves to hide and say "BOO"!

I love this picture of him in the car because I get this look from him all the time. The evil eye. Sometimes I wonder where this little stinker comes! The picture on the right is of our neighbor and landlord Bob. Jack loves him, and he and his wife Doreen are really cute with Jack.
I can't believe the summer is over. This year seems to have gone by really fast. We went to the beach a couple times, I really wish we had gone more but Jack developed and aversion to water this summer that resulted with him screaming until we left the beach or swimming pools. In fact it started the week we headed to Utah and spent the weekend at Bear Lake. Great Timing! But he is finally over it and we are super excited for the beaches next year.

Funny face wade.

It's hard to tell in this photo but the guys are playing ultimate frisbee the night of the campout. I really didn't take the picture to capture there amazing skills but rather to capture the amazing view. Our ward campout was up in vermont near the birthplace of Joseph Smith. It was a beautiful campsite and I really wish we had stayed more than one night. The only bad thing about the camp was that as we were driving there we passed a bear crossing sign near the highway which was less than five miles from the campsite and it freaked me out. I'm a wuss. I was so scared that if i got up during the night I would be eaten by a bear. What are the chances right?!They had these little handcarts for us to wheel our stuff around in. I could barely pull it with all our stuff in it so Jared had to do most of the work.

Jack loved the smores

jared asked me to help him carry the mattress into our tent so instead I grabbed the camera and took his picture. He looked so funny with it on his head. Camping isn't really camping without a giant mattress to sleep on.

Jack loved the tent. He kept calling it a tunnel
