More on family vacation

Grizzly bear approaching its victims! We spotted a bear far away and were looking at it with our binoculars when we noticed this grizzly bear about 100-150 yards away playing in the bushes. It walked up toward the road and these stupid people didn't get in their cars. Cookoo
Scott and Wade looking at the bears
A cute picture of Jackson and Jared
Our new sister in law Kali wants to be a photographer so she took our new family picture. Good job Kali. There used to be a huge Pepsi truck on the right but Jared photo shopped it out. Good job Jared!

Jared was the only one to catch a fish when we went fishing and he caught a monster of a fish. It was the biggest fish he has ever caught measuring over 18 wopping inches

The Annual Poulsen Vacation

Standing in front of a stinky sulfuric gyser
Jack and Jared in front of (as John calls it) old dissapointment
We waited an hour and a half to see old faithful go off. As you can see Jack didn't find this very exciting!
Niki, John and Tina walking on the path around the stinky mud pots and gysers
Jack and Grandpa Scott! Jack didn't last very long in this backpack but it was fun while it lasted

Happy Birthday Jared

Jared got a PSP and some games from me for his birthday. And of course the best card ever. It said I was going to give him some pirate booty for his birthday and then when he opened the card some pirates mooned him. Sweet!
This is him inspecting the game I gave him, and the little bottle in the bottom left corner is from Jack Jack

Poulsen Family Reunion

Jackson and Grandma hangin out near the tents
Mom and Jackson taking a nap after a hard day of playing in bearlake and a loooong night of not sleeping. Last year we brought sleeping bags to sleep in and it was too hot so this year we only brought blankets and it was way to cold so Jack ended up sleeping between us instead of in his crib. Let me tell you that doesn't work very well on an queen/full sized air mattress, i wouldn't recommend it.
Jack and Susan in the water. He loved it!
Susan, Jack, Jared and Niki and in the background are Wade and our new sister in law Kali near the wave runners. We always look forward to going to this reunion each year. We camp out friday night and play all day saturday. The boys go golfing and then they make us breakfast on saturday. It's a lot of fun! Wehew for Bearlake!

Fourth of July

Okay so I am way behind again on updating our blog again. But here is a picture of us on the fourth of July. We went down to Stephen's (my brother) house for a BBQ and Park, Robert and Meg's families were all there. Then Boo's family and ours went to a park near the BYU stadium to enjoy the spectacular display of explosive fireworks and smokey air. Jack and I enjoyed watching Boo, his kids and Jared's amazing athletic abilities with the football and all impressive wooful ball (is that spelled right?). Notice the patriotic attire.
