Jared finished his first year of Architecture school

Jared's final project was to create a boathouse along the charles river and this is his final result, well one of them. He did four models in all and a series of drawings. Good job Jared.
This is a full picture of one of the models he did. This was about 6 feet long and he stayed up for countless nights working on it. He hasn't recieved all of his grades for the semester yet, but he got an A in structures which was his hardest class. Congratulations Babe we are really proud of you.

I wear my sunglasses at night

Jack and I went to see "how to train your dragon" in 3D. I haven't taken him to a movie since he was a baby and could sleep right through them so this was a new adventure for us. We started out in the middle of the theatre and quickly made our way to the back row. Why you ask? well jack decided it would be more fun to run up and down the back to rows then entire time rather than watch the movie. I really thought we would like the movie. I brought him treats and popcorn and he did like those but he just couldn't sit still. I think we need another year before we try that one again.

Happy birthday to me

Thank you Jared and Jack for giving me a great birthday. Jared made me a chocolate cake with chocolate icing (my favorite, bring on the chocolate) and special ordered my favorite vanilla cream chocolates from Russel Stovers. Yummy! And then I got to go and pick out a whole bunch of clothes which is just how I like it. Thank you Boys, I love you both.

Castle Island

Castle island is a fort that has been there since the 1634 but it has obviously been changed and updated several times over the years. The inside was closed when we went but it was still pretty cool.
jared and jack in front of a monument

jack wanted to put his toes in the icy cold water. It was kind of gross water so I was glad it wasn't warm, I don't think I would have let him swim in it. Yuck

Easter

Jackson loves his cousin Miles! here he is adjusting his binkie for him.
Cutie

A couple in the ward invited everyone over to there house on easter so we could have brunch a big easter egg hunt for the kids. Jack loved hunting for the eggs in fact we had to keep taking them out of his basket so other kids could find them too.

We made easter eggs for the big easter egg hunt. This was mine before I dyed it. Beautiful isn't it

Jack and Jared had fun but Jack kept trying to break the eggs.

A day at the zoo

Jared and Jack in front of the Lion (notice the lovely pose the lion is in)
Look how big Jack is.

Jack liked this Baboon unfortunately my flash messed up the picture

This truck was half in the lions cage, Jack thought it was pretty cool

"get it away"

We went to the zoo about a month ago. We were really excited to take Jackson thinking he would love to see all the animals. But, he didn't really care about them and he just wanted to run around. Oh well at least he had fun running and playing on the playground. maybe next summer he will enjoy it a little more.

walden pond

We went ot Walden Pond today and it was so beautiful. It was a little flooded so we couldn't take the path that runs right along the pond and I couldn't find the mesquito repellant and as you can see I wore the wrong kind of shoes but it was great and we are totally going back. It reminded me both of my grandma's farm and a little bit of Tony's Grove. Next week we are going camping with the ward campout and we are supper excited so I will hopefully post some more pictures next week.
