Driving to Boston

I would have taken more pictures but I ran out of memory on my camera. This trip took about 5 days total not including the stop in Kansas City. And, it actually went a lot smoother than it could have. Jack did great. So we are here now and we have unpacked and Jared just started his first day of school today. I keep singing that Adam Sandler song "back to school, back to school, I've got my shoes tied tight..." I think he is really excited about going back to school. So, we are getting settled here. The weather is perfect, the city is beautiful, we have some great family close by and the ward is great so all in all things are going pretty good. I just have to find a job now!

Driving to Boston

Driving to Sammie's, we were really excited to be in a car again. This was driving day 3.

There was a little storm on the way to Sammie's and then while we were down at Sammie's there were some tornado warnings around midnight so we all had to go downstairs. We didn't dare go in the basement though because of the possibility of snakes, Sam's basement is scary. So, we plopped down on the couch on the main floor and prayed that we would at least hear a tornado coming so we could run for the basement. No worries though none ever came.

Just starting on our trip to Boston. Jack was high enough up that he could see all of the farm animals that we passed. He kept saying hi hi hi, moo, moo, moo. I was really cute for the first hour.

I don't remember what waterfall this is but it is above sundance on the way up to the alpine loop. We loved this hike. This waterfall was amazing.

This water was so cold that my feet hurt when we got out and we were only in the water for about a minute. I don't know how all those kids were playing in the water. BRRRR

This is up by Cambridge. This is the river they do a lot of the boat races on with all of the guys rowing, like in the movie Skulls.
