Jared is finally home from all of his travels and we have really missed him. He came home yesterday and he was really off of his schedule (I guess they are 15 hours ahead of us). So while Jared was gone he missed St. Patricks day and Easter so I decided to make him easter dinner. So I made a ham, twice baked potatoes, rolls, salad, deviled eggs and a raspberry pie. Yummy!!!And he was so tired by the time he got home that he wasn't hungry, but he was nice enough to eat anyway but now I have tonz of left overs which is not a good thing when you are on a diet.

Well the past three weeks Jackson has started smiling and I have yet to get a good picture because everytime I try to take his picture all he can do is stare at the camera so I will have to keep working on it. He has also starte cooing and it is so adorable. I love how he is interacting with us now.

By the way the top picture was taken about a month ago. The cute kids are my brothers (Ben and Ella). Jared invited them to come over for a snowball fight and he decided to build them a fort so that is what they are standing on.

Jared in Korea

Jared has been in Korea the last couple of days, these are a couple of pictures that he sent me.

Jackson loves his binkie but he may have found something else he loves, his thumb!!! I know I shouldn't want him to suck his thumb but it is a lot easier than popping his binkie back in his mouth every five seconds because he can't hold it in very long by himself.

Jared in Mongolia

Jared has been in Mongolia for the past week and a half and we have missed him so much, this is the longest he has ever been away from us. He is there for work. They are designing a new city near the border of China. He spent the first couple of days in the capital of Mongolia, I have no idea what the name of it is, and then he took a 14 hour train ride to the property he will be helping develop and he said that there are herds of camels roaming about and that the hotel he stayed in made a motel 6 look like a 5 star hotel. He said that he had running water the other day and he got to take a shower by sprinkling water over himself while sitting in a small tub. Next he is off to Korea to look at three other potential sites and then he will finally come home. Jared is having some awesome experiences with his job but we sure miss him while he is away.

Jared has been in Mongolia for the past week and a half so Jared's parents were kind enough to save me from my boredom and invite me to St. George with them. The weather was soooo nice it was 75 this day so we took Jackson for his first swim in a pool and of course he loved it. Here he is just chillin. It was so depressing driving back to Salt Lake because it just kept getting colder and uglier the further we drove.

Jackson finally started smiling back at us this week. He just turned 2 months old and he usually insists on having his binky in his mouth at all times (so this was a rare moment caught on camera even if it is only a half smile).
